Materials Planner Sara Lee is seeking an experienced Materials Planner to join our Planning & Logistics team. This is a hands-on planning role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working with systems, data, suppliers and inventory management. We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded planner who can confidently manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a dynamic production environment. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is highly desirable, and you'll need to be comfortable working with large volumes of data, transactions and changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. What You'll Be Doing Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging and consumables. Develop and maintain material supply plans to support production requirements. Monitor inventory levels and ensure continuity of supply while minimising excess stock. Work closely with suppliers to manage deliveries, shortages and supply risks. Analyse demand, production schedules and inventory data to make informed planning decisions. Maintain accurate master data and planning parameters within D365. Manage slow-moving, obsolete and end-of-life inventory. Monitor supplier performance and support procurement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, inventory performance and supply chain efficiency. Support budgeting and forecasting activities. What You'll Bring Proven experience in a Materials Planner, Supply Planner, Inventory Planner or similar role. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Advanced computer skills and confidence working across ERP systems, reporting tools and large data sets. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting. Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or a similar high-volume production environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to changing business requirements.
