Mechanical Project Services is seeking a motivated and capable Service Estimator to join our Service Estimation team. This role will assist with the preparation, pricing and presentation of commercial HVAC maintenance proposals, contract renewals and tender submissions. The position will have a strong focus on supporting our eastern states service estimation requirements, while working as part of a national team. You will be supported by the National Estimation Manager and will work closely with branch managers, service teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders. About the Role This role would suit someone with experience in estimating, pricing, procurement, contract administration, tendering, service administration or commercial maintenance. Experience in the HVAC or mechanical services industry will be highly regarded, however we are also interested in applicants with strong computer literacy, good attention to detail and the ability to learn. The role provides exposure to a variety of maintenance proposals, contract renewals and tender opportunities across different clients, sites and service requirements. Key Responsibilities Your duties will include: Assisting with the preparation and pricing of commercial HVAC maintenance proposals. Reviewing and repricing existing HVAC maintenance contract renewals. Supporting new maintenance tender opportunities. Reviewing scopes of work, pricing schedules and procurement documents. Liaising with subcontractors and internal service teams to confirm pricing and service requirements. Preparing clear and professional proposal and tender information. Managing assigned tasks to meet internal and client deadlines. Working both independently and as part of the Service Estimation team. Skills and Experience The successful applicant will ideally have: Experience in estimating, pricing, procurement, tendering, contract administration or service administration. Strong computer literacy and confidence working across digital systems. The ability to work accurately with pricing, documents, data and commercial information. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Good time management and organisational skills. The ability to review documents, identify key requirements and follow submission instructions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly Regarded The following experience will be advantageous: Commercial HVAC or mechanical services experience. Preventative maintenance or facilities maintenance experience.
