We need a switched-on Hydraulic Technician who takes pride in doing quality work and wants to be part of a team that actually values their trade. This isn't a revolving-door role. If you're the kind of person who reads a schematic before reaching for tools and can explain a fault without hand-waving — read on. What you will be doing: No two days are identical. Across workshop and field, you'll handle: ▸ Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic faults on mobile plant and industrial systems ▸ Rebuilding cylinders, pumps, motors and directional control valves ▸ Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and circuit diagrams ▸ Hose assembly, fabrication and high-pressure testing ▸ Planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown response ▸ Writing clear, accurate service reports and job documentation What you bring: Must Have: ▸ Trade qualification — Cert III Engineering (Mechanical or similar) or equivalent experience ▸ 3 years of hands-on hydraulic experience in industrial, mobile or high-pressure systems ▸ Solid fault-finding ability — you diagnose with logic ▸ Comfortable reading hydraulic schematics ▸ Current driver's licence and full Australian work rights Nice to Have (We'll Train the Rest): ▸ Field service experience ▸ Forklift, EWP or White Card tickets ▸ Hands-on time with Parker, Bosch Rexroth, Danfoss and Eaton equipment What this position offers you: ▸ Competitive hourly rate benchmarked to your experience — we pay to retain good people ▸ Real overtime availability, not just a line in an ad ▸ Full uniform and PPE kit on day one ▸ A team that's been working together for years — low turnover for a reason ▸ Clear pathway into senior technician and supervisory roles for those who want it HOW TO APPLY Send your resume to us and include a short note covering: ▸ Your hydraulic experience — years in the trade and the types of systems you know best ▸ Any trade qualifications or tickets you hold ▸ Your availability and notice period Shortlisted applicants will be contacted first for a private, casual phone discussion prior to coming in to meet our team.
