Mechanic Position: MechanicEmployment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a qualified and motivated Mechanic to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment. Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance. Repair and replace engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other vehicle components. Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs. Complete road tests before and after repairs where required. Maintain accurate service records and job documentation. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with workplace health and safety requirements. Assist with roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs when required. Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations. Skills and Experience Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent). Current Australian Driver Licence (manual licence preferred). Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills.
