As part of our transition from explorer to producer, we have successfully recommissioned the historic Challenger Gold Mine near Adelong, NSW. With production continuing to ramp up, we are seeking motivated Open Cut & Process Plant Operators to join our growing operations team. About the Role These are multi-skilled operational roles where you may work across both the open cut mining fleet and gold processing plant. Responsibilities include: Operating mobile mining equipment including haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers and graders. Operating and monitoring crushing, screening and gold processing plant equipment. Conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment. Reporting equipment defects and operational issues. Following safe work procedures and environmental requirements. Working collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production targets. Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the mine and processing areas. Assisting in continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation. About You To be successful, you will ideally have: Experience in open cut mining, quarrying or mineral processing is preferred but not essential – we are happy to train the right people. Competency operating one or more pieces of mobile mining equipment is preferred but not essential. Process plant operating experience (highly regarded but not essential). A strong commitment to workplace health and safety. A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a small team. Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and criminal history check. Two recent work-related referees. Relevant machinery tickets or Statements of Attainment (desirable).
