We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Payroll Officer to join our Lismore team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident supporting both the finance function and the wider team. Working closely with branch leadership, you'll play an important role in managing accounts receivable, payroll, and general finance activities while providing guidance and support to the administration team. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 4:36 PM. About The Role This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced accounts professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of customer accounts and payroll while assisting with general accounting functions and supporting continuous improvement within the branch. We're looking for someone who can work independently, bring strong accounting knowledge, and confidently guide others when needed. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliationsProcess weekly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on timeReconcile customer accounts, bank accounts, and general ledger transactionsMonitor outstanding debtor balances and follow up overdue accountsSupport month-end reporting and finance administrationAssist with accounts payable and general accounting duties as requiredMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company proceduresProvide support and guidance to the administration teamWork closely with branch management and the wider finance team to improve processes and maintain efficient operations About You Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Payroll, or Accounting roleStrong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processesExperience processing payroll in a busy business environmentHigh attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to prioritise work and meet deadlinesA collaborative approach with the confidence to support and guide other team membersProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with Pronto ERP will be highly regarded but is not essential Why Join Metroll?
