About the role As the Manager, Compliance Strategy and Performance, you will play a key role in strengthening the Reef Authority's compliance program and supporting the long-term protection of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and World Heritage Area. Working within the Reef Joint Field Management Program, you will help drive compliance performance, operational planning and continuous business improvement that supports effective management of one of the world's most significant natural environments. You will lead operational reporting, business analysis and improvement initiatives, helping translate operational and compliance data into meaningful business insights that inform decision-making. Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to strategic planning, governance, reporting and funding activities while improving operational processes and performance across the compliance program. What you will do Lead operational reporting, business analysis and business improvement initiatives across the compliance program. Prepare strategic reports, briefings, performance reports, funding proposals and governance documentation to support informed decision-making. Improve operational processes, reporting capability, systems, workflows and performance frameworks. Coordinate compliance program governance, business planning and performance monitoring activities. Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partner agencies to support compliance outcomes. Provide practical, evidence-based and risk-informed advice that strengthens regulatory effectiveness and protects the Marine Park. What you'll bring Experience in operational reporting, business analysis, business improvement or related activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information and provide practical recommendations. The ability to prepare clear, accurate and concise reports, briefings and business documentation. Strong communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Sound organisational skills, adaptability and the ability to manage competing priorities while contributing to continuous improvement.
