About the Role NightOwl Convenience is seeking a motivated and reliable Store Leader to support the day-to-day operation of our busy convenience store. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an experienced retail team member looking to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with the Store Manager and help ensure the store operates smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities · Lead and support team members during each shift. · Allocate, monitor and follow up on daily tasks. · Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations and excellent customer service. · Support stock control, inventory management and merchandising activities. · Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness. · Assist with stocktakes and inventory accuracy. · Ensure food safety and workplace standards are consistently maintained. · Handle cash management, opening and closing till procedures. · Act as the senior team member on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. · Assist in resolving customer enquiries and operational issues. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: · Previous experience in retail, convenience stores, supermarkets or similar customer-focused environments. · Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential. · Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. · A positive attitude and willingness to lead by example. · Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. · Reliable transportation. · Availability to work both morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends when required. · Valid Australian work visa or permanent residency required.
