About the role This is a dual leadership position. As Assistant Centre Manager, you’ll support the Centre Director in the day-to-day running of the service. As Educational Leader, you’ll guide and mentor our team to deliver an inspiring, evidence-based curriculum. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the overall management and smooth daily operation of the centre Leading, mentoring, and inspiring educators to deliver exceptional learning programs aligned with the EYLF and VEYLF Guiding curriculum development, documentation, and reflective practice across all rooms Building genuine, trusting partnerships with families Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, regulations, and policies Stepping into the Centre Manager role in their absence Fostering a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture What we’re looking for A Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved) Demonstrated experience in a leadership or 2IC role within early childhood Strong working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, VEYLF and Education and Care Services National Regulations A current Working With Children Check Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications Completion of National Child Safety Training – Foundations module National Police Check Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills A genuine love for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous improvement What we offer A competitive salary package reflecting your experience Flexible working options – 9 day fortnight Generous 60% childcare discount Bambini Playtime (Additional annual leave) Online professional learning programs (ECA Membership for every employee) Ongoing professional development and clear career progression A supportive, values-driven leadership team The chance to make a real, lasting impact on children and families Ready to lead?
