About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated High Risk Trainer to join our team, delivering high-quality training and assessment across a range of high-risk work licences and nationally recognised units. This FIFO position supports mining and construction operations by ensuring personnel are competent, compliant, and confident in operating safely. Key Responsibilities Deliver training and assessment for high-risk work licences and associated nationally recognised units. Conduct practical and theoretical assessments in accordance with regulatory and organisational requirements. Maintain accurate training records and assessment documentation. Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees to promote safe work practices. Ensure training materials remain current and compliant with industry standards. Liaise with site management to coordinate training schedules and workforce competency requirements. Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement. Essential Requirements Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent with current compliance requirements). Current High Risk Work Licence with relevant classes (e.g. Dogging, Rigging, Scaffolding, EWP, Forklift, Crane or others). Demonstrated experience delivering high-risk training in the mining, construction or resources sector. Current Driver’s Licence. National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one). Current First Aid and CPR certificates. Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening. Desirable Verification of Competency (VOC) experience. Experience with mine site inductions and site-specific training. Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
