The following volunteer positions are waiting for you: Non-operational positions Treasurer/ Secretary Fleet and workshop care and maintenance Operational Storm and flood damage Radio operators Search and Rescue Bushfire Ground Support Operational roles require a basic level of physical fitness and a basic level of literacy and numeracy is also required. No matter what age you are if you think you can fill these boots we’d like to hear from you. We provide free training, personal protective equipment and clothing, comradery and the gratitude of the community. Category Emergency Response Commitment Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work Administration & Office Management,Fundraising & Events,Safety & Emergency Services, Time Required If you are operational, commitment is ongoing and includes: weekly training on Monday evenings; attending emergency incident callouts 24/7 when available; attending occasional community engagement events when available. For non operational roles, the commitment is negotiable and should be discussed with the Local Manager. Training All required training is provided. Weekly training occurs on a Monday evening with weekend courses and training every few months.
