SMS Group Services is looking for an Operations Coordinator - Industrial Services to join our team in Welshpool. You'll be the operational backbone of our project delivery, working to ensure every job runs smoothly, safely, and to budget. Preferred Requirements Solid knowledge of scaffolding and rope access practices and safety standards Proven experience coordinating site-based operations, managing multiple stakeholders and timelines Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, administration, recruitment, and on-site supervisors Capability to develop and implement KPIs, improvement plans, and best practice processes Comfortable conducting site visits, audits, and customer interactions, with a focus on identifying operational efficiencies and additional revenue opportunities Certification and experience in scaffolding, rope access, or a related industrial discipline Project management or operations management qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience in a similar role Current or recent experience in health, safety, and quality compliance within an industrial or construction environment Role Description Assist with customer enquiries inclusive of quotes, estimates, equipment, transport, and labor scheduling. Be the senior person of Project Leads to ensure Customer/Contract requirements are met. Arrange, coordinate, and monitor all site requirements in accordance with quotes and budgets. Effectively coordinate all site-based requirements in consultation with administration, Recruitment team and supervisors. Oversee all equipment movements to and from the Welshpool and remote yards and conduct yard audits. Develop, implement, and steward site specific KPI’s. Facilitate and provide assurance of Improvement Plans and actions. Contribute to the completion of bids and proposals including site visits and customer interface. Identify and implement best practice in all areas of Project Delivery. Conduct regular site visits for customer interaction and auditing. Provide governance and leadership of the Project Delivery WHS, Risk and Quality programs, and Provide access to training, mentoring and personal development of members of the Project Delivery teams.
