Be part of and support the success of the AWESOME Festival by volunteering as a Festival Assistant. Our festival volunteers are the driving force behind the AWESOME Festival. They provide essential support by assisting with children's activities, welcoming and directing patrons, front of house duties, and helping create a safe and enjoyable experience for children and their families. We welcome all volunteers aged 15 and over. Volunteering at the AWESOME Festival is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside creative professionals, fellow volunteers, and BGA staff. Gain hands-on experience with a leading arts organisation and help create memorable experiences for children aged 0-12 and their families. Key Tasks You might work alongside professional artists, supervise exhibition spaces and installations, assist with front of house and provide excellent customer service, distribute survey cards and programs, even dress up as one of our festival mascots!
