Qualified OSHC Educator Permanent | 30 hours per week (Term Time School Holidays) Blackfriars Priory School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified OSHC Educator to join our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) team. This is a permanent part-time role supporting the delivery of a high-quality, engaging and compliant care program for primary-aged children. Working under the direction of the OSHC Director, the Educator contributes to the day-to-day operation of the service, supporting the implementation of educational and recreational programs in a safe and inclusive environment. Hours of Work Term time: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 9:30am and 2:00pm – 6:00pm School holidays: Flexible shifts across 30 hours per week About the Role Under the supervision of the OSHC Director, the Qualified OSHC Educator supports the delivery of OSHC and Vacation Care programs and contributes to the safe and compliant operation of the service. The Educator may be required to undertake the role of Responsible Person when delegated , in accordance with legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive OSHC and Vacation Care programs Assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities for children Supervise and actively engage children in a safe, positive and supportive environment Support inclusion of children with diverse learning, behavioural and wellbeing needs Assist with maintaining a safe and compliant service in line with the National Quality Framework Complete routine administrative tasks and maintain required records Support risk management, WHS practices and safe food handling procedures Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment Build respectful and professional relationships with children, families and staff Essential Qualifications and Requirements ACECQA-approved Diploma or higher qualification recognised as a First Qualified Educator (SA OSHC) Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) RRHAN-EC certification Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training About You You will bring: Experience working in an OSHC or similar education and care setting Confidence supporting the delivery of programs and supervising children Sound communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow established procedures Initiative and sound judgement within a supervised environment About Us Blackfriars Priory School is a Catholic school in the Dominican tradition, committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
