Location: On site at the Kayelekera Uranium Mine, Karonga, in Malawi Lotus Africa is looking for a practical, disciplined and detail-driven Packaging Supervisor to support safe, compliant and traceable uranium product packaging at Kayelekera Uranium Mine.This is a critical site-based role for someone who understands that product stewardship is about more than packaging — it is about accuracy, traceability, documentation, safety and readiness for outbound logistics. In this role, you will:Supervise packaging operators and coordinate drumming, weighing, labelling, sampling, storage and containerisation activities.Ensure product handling and packaging are completed safely and in line with radiation safety, environmental, hazardous material and statutory requirements.Maintain accurate batch, drum, weight, sample, container, seal, permit and product inventory records.Coordinate with Processing, Logistics, HSE, Radiation Safety, Security, Laboratory, Supply Chain and external stakeholders to ensure product readiness.Use Excel and systems based trackers and status updates to monitor progress, blockers, documentation and shipment-readiness risks. We’re looking for someone with:Experience in mining, processing, packaging, product handling, logistics, warehousing or a similar operational environment.Experience supervising operators or coordinating operational teams.Good understanding of drumming, weighing, labelling, inventory control, batch traceability, sample control and documentation.Strong computer literacy and capability in Excel-based trackers and reporting, with excellent attention to detail.A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
