As an OT at Gymworks OT you will have responsibility for assessing children's development in response to carer's concerns, working with carers to find solutions to these concerns and implementing targeted therapy towards the child's goals, both in a group setting and/or one-on-one in the clinic or at home and school depending on the concerns. Skills and experience Require: OT degree Full AHPRA registration Working with Children Check Valid Police Check Knowledge of typical child development and common developmental disorders. Experience with a range of developmental OT assessments and working with children with a range of developmental difficulties including developmental coordination disorder, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay desirable but mentoring available for the right candidate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organisational skills. Creativity working with children and enjoy working as part of a team.
