You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance to internal and external regulations, policies and procedures. Your day will involve: Overseeing company and contractor drivers including workforce management such as recruitment and leaveOverseeing medicals and on boarding of DriversEnsuring safety through Toolbox Talks, inspecting customer sites and managing CoR compliance and breachesUndertaking Heavy Vehicle inspectionsInvestigating incidents and accidentsResolving public queries and complaintsUtilisation of company assets and P&L oversightStakeholder engagement with central allocations team What are we looking for? A current and valid Drivers LicenseKnowledge of Chain of Responsibility and NHVAS regulationsBackground in Logistics/ Transport, Supply Chain/ Manufacturing Genuine interest and commitment towards learning and developmentDegree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Management is desirableExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage time and competing priorities within fast paced environmentsGood technological skills with the ability to learn new systems (Excel, telematics, payroll systems, etc.) To support the geographic range and the operational requirements of this role, candidates with the ability to travel and the flexibility with working hours are encouraged to apply.
