Assist with lift planning and execution of lifting operations Align, level and anchor machinery and structural components Set up cranes, exclusion zones, barricading and signage Operate and attach rigging gear (chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors, lever hoists) Inspect, tag and maintain rigging equipment and update registers Conduct pre‑start checks and complete JHAs and Take‑5s Maintain housekeeping and adhere to all WHS requirements Support junior riggers during complex lifts Perform general construction duties as required
