Job Type: Subcontract Pay: A$35.00–A$50.00 per hour Structured Pay Progression: Tutors begin at the base rate and move through clear pay increases as they accumulate tutoring hours and experience with Shield Tuition. Licence/Certification: Working with Children Check (mandatory or ability attain asap). Responsibilities: Provide personalised, one-on-one online tutoring sessions to students at a school level grade 1-12. Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to address individual learning needs. Assess students' progress and adjust tutoring techniques accordingly. Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Communicate with parents/guardians to provide updates on students' performance. Communicate promptly and diligently with Shield Tuition. Contribute to a positive team culture. Requirements: Requirements vary depending on your preferred students' education level, however we generally require at least: Australian High School Certificate. Commendable Year 12 grades. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patient, flexible, and able to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles. Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals. Working with Children Card (Blue Card) or ability to attain one asap. Working laptop with webcam, reliable internet connection. Can meet 5 hrs minimum per week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in tutoring/online will be looked well upon. Current or past university student.
