THE ROLE Applications are sought from experienced Fleet Maintenance Coordinators to join the team at Ora Banda. Some of the responsibilities of this role will include: Execute planned and unplanned maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all mobile and ancillary assets, including logbook servicing, tyre fitting, and wheel alignment Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fault-find on mobile plant and equipment across Ora Banda sites, interpreting drawings, schematics, work orders, and schedules as required Identify and replace defective or worn components using a wide range of hand tools and engineering techniques to maintain high equipment availability Manage time effectively to complete all repairs, paperwork, parts ordering, and work orders accurately and within required timeframes Record and report plant operating parameters, inspection findings, and maintenance activities to support the planning function Liaise closely with asset owners, superintendents, suppliers, service providers, and stores to ensure efficient servicing and repairs, including outside normal business hours Mentor and supervise LV mechanics, providing regular performance feedback and supporting their ongoing development Conduct effective shift handovers and maintain good housekeeping standards A full position description will be made available for shortlisted applicants priot to interview. ABOUT YOU To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience: Demonstrated experience as Project Manager or similar role in the mining industry taking responsibility to plan and deliver mixed discipline sustaining capital projects, with a minimum of 15 years of experience. Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental), Construction Management, or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree) Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate construction teams effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Excellent record keeping skills for documenting progress, issues and resolutions. Ability to read and understand technical documentation and engineering drawings. Familiarity with mining industry regulations and standards.
