The role Hours : Permanent full-time, 38 hours per week Location : Coffs Harbour work from options available Salary : $76,000 to $97,000 per annum super salary packaging As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will provide specialist behaviour support service to NDIS participants, helping them achieve their goals, enhance their quality of life and increase their independence. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, carers, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams to assess behaviours of concern, develop positive behaviour support strategies, and ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements. You will play a key role in developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, providing training and coaching to stakeholders, and promoting a culture of least restrictive practice across all service environments. Essential Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Allied Health or other with relevant Behaviour Support Practitioner registration work experience. Current NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Behaviour Support Practitioner Registration. High level communication skills and knowledge including reports and progress notes to a professional standard. High level interpersonal and relationship building skills to work effectively within the disability sector. Background check, Working with Children NDIS Workers Check.
