We are recruiting a Stores Team Member for our client located in Pinkenba in a permanent capacity. Our client who is a leader in providing cargo, stevedoring and specialised storage services. The Stores Team Member role is a hands-on position undertaking a wide variety of stores, cleaning and operational tasks. The role will primarily operate on a Monday–Friday rotating roster of 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and 7:00 am – 3:00 pm , as required Key Responsibilities: Organisation, preparation and movement of product and equipment in readiness for stores and shipping operations Safe operation of equipment such as Front-End Loader, Forklift, Skidsteer, Excavator, Flipscreens etc. across two sites and, as required, on client sites General maintenance activities to support operations Cleaning equipment and general stores cleaning activities to ensure safety and housekeeping standards Participating in inventory counts and reporting Recognition that you will be working on equipment that is operational within storage facilities that are functioning to comply with quarantine (DAWR) QAP requirements Upskilling to learn and complete all tasks within stores Adhering to work and safety instructions and complying with company policies, quality & safety procedures and Queensland Workplace Health and Safety legislation Ensuring security of stores and operational areas and escalation of issues and concerns to Stores Supervisor immediately You Will Possess: Previous experience in a similar role A valid Forklift Licence (HRWL LF) a must Holding one or more of HR or HC truck licence, Front End Loader, Skidsteer, Excavator will be highly regarded Current Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) will also be highly regarded A can-do attitude and strong work ethic Team player Flexibility to a variety of tasks as required Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical (including drug & alcohol) Full Australian Work Rights Benefits: Permanent position Very competitive hourly rate OT Career progression Great team culture and working environment Supportive management To express your interest in this great opportunity, hit the “ APPLY ” button now and attached an up-to-date resume.
