About the role: As the Stores Team Leader, you’ll play an important role in supporting the operational needs of Tasmania’s most iconic entertainment and hospitality venue. You will be responsible for the efficient operation of our stores function, ensuring stock is received, stored and delivered to internal departments in a timely, safe and professional manner. Working closely with the Purchasing and Procurement team, you will help maintain strong supplier relationships, support stock control processes and uphold high service standards across the business. You will also lead and support store staff on shift, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure smooth service delivery. What you’ll be doing: Receive and distribute incoming stock and freight Coordinate outgoing goods and maintain loading bay and storage areas Deliver stock to various internal departments Monitor shipments, costs, and delivery timelines Assist with procurement activities including receipting and SwiftPOS tasks Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers Promote and support safe workplace practices Lead, support, and train other store personnel during shifts You’ll be a great fit if you: Have experience in a similar role within a busy stores, logistics or warehousing environment Bring strong communication and customer service skills Can lead and support a team while also working independently Have strong time management and organisational skills Understand and support WHS and food safety requirements Have basic numerical and computer literacy, with experience using stock systems desirable Are hands-on, reliable and solutions-focused in your approach It would be great if you also have: Forklift Licence Food Safety Certificate Manual Handling training Diploma of Logistics (or equivalent experience) An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
