Alba Holdings Pty Ltd t/a Quality Press Print Finisher (ANZSCO: 392111 – Print Finisher) Full time/Permanent $80,000 – $85,000 (salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities : Set up and operate paper guillotines for pre-press and post-press paper cutting and trimming Utilise tools such as rotary trimmers, cutting mats, precision knives and various types of scissors to cut print materials to precise sizes and shapes Set up and operate folding machinery to fold printed materials accurately and efficiently Fold and collate by guillotine and folding machinery and hand Bind full, half and limp-bound books, and repair bindings Inspect final products for inconsistencies or flaws Perform routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure machines operate optimally Monitor materials used in the finishing process to ensure there are sufficient supplies and organise their replenishment as and when needed Responsible for the final assembly of complex print products Demonstrate good attention to detail and time management skills to meet production deadlines Adapt to learn new equipment and processes as required Comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations and company policies Qualifications and Experience: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV. Three years of full-time relevant experience may substitute the need for formal qualifications. Applicants with qualifications will need to demonstrate 1 year of relevant experience
