About the role: This role will see you take on a senior position within a busy litigation and insolvency team, working closely with Partners and having direct client contact from the outset. You can expect to work across: Commercial litigation, contractual disputes and broader commercial claims. Insolvency, restructuring and debt recovery matters. Acting for creditors, directors and insolvency practitioners. Formal appointments, receiverships, liquidation claims and recovery actions. Negotiations, mediations, court proceedings and settlement strategy. Drafting correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, briefs and settlement materials. Day-to-day carriage of files, direct client contact and mentoring junior lawyers. The ideal candidate: Senior Associate or Special Counsel level lawyer with strong litigation and insolvency experience. Experience across contractual disputes, debt recovery and insolvency-related matters. Confident taking carriage of files, managing clients and working to competing deadlines. Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and strategic thinking skills. Practical, commercial and solutions-focused in your approach. Down-to-earth, personable and comfortable in a boutique firm environment.
