Job Description This teaching focused position will require the appointee to undertake teaching in pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy, and related areas. This could include vaccination and pharmacist prescribing. In addition, the appointee will be required to work on pharmacy curriculum matters as part of the Pharmacy team reporting to the Head of School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences. Key responsibilities of this position include: Facilitate delivery of contemporary curriculum that aligns with and adapts to emerging pharmacist roles. Develop and deliver course material and assessment informed by current clinical and pharmacy knowledge. Foster and engage in learning and teaching evaluation (scholarship) and identify ongoing education improvements in consultation with program and course convenors. Promote an outstanding student experience across the spectrum of the University’s undergraduate, and postgraduate program suite and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching activities. Continuously improve teaching practice through professional development and critical reflection. Participate in relevant leadership activities including course management and pharmacy program support. Promote and enhance student learning experiences through engagement with industry and community stakeholders to develop work integrated learning opportunities and support employability initiatives. This is a part-time (0.8FTE), continuing position based at the Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $117,076 - $139,031 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136,979 - $162,667 per annum.
