Headquartered in Brisbane, with offices across Adelaide, Perth, Bunbury, Bendigo, Wodonga, Rockhampton and Darwin, ACRRM is seeking an exceptional finance executive to lead its Finance function and secure the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability. About the Role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic financial leadership to support ACRRM’s long-term sustainability, performance, governance and strategic decision making. This role is accountable for leading across financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, investment oversight, procurement, financial systems and business planning. The Chief Financial Officer will work closely with the CEO, Board and Governance Committees, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and used to support informed decision making across the College. Key Responsibilities As Chief Financial Officer, you will: Develop and lead ACRRM’s financial strategy, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan and long-term sustainability objectives Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, COO, Board, Governance Committees and Executive Leadership Team Oversee the annual budgeting process, financial modelling, forecasting and performance monitoring Ensure robust financial governance, risk management and compliance with tax, accounting, audit and regulatory obligations Lead the preparation of accurate, timely financial reports and annual financial statements, and manage the external audit process Lead procurement governance, supplier management and the financial oversight of contracts, assets, leases and property Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes and reporting capability Lead, coach and develop a high-performing, service-oriented Finance team About You ACRRM is seeking an experienced finance executive who combines strong technical and commercial acumen with the credibility to influence at Board and Executive level. You bring significant senior financial leadership experience, ideally at CFO, Director Finance or Head of Finance level, along with a CPA or CA qualification and tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. You are a strategic thinker with strong financial governance, risk and compliance expertise, and the communication skills to translate financial information into clear insight for financial and non-financial stakeholders alike. Additionally, you will bring: Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and reporting processes Experience managing financial governance, audit, risk, compliance and internal control frameworks Experience providing strategic financial advice to CEOs, Boards and Executive teams A track record of leading and developing finance teams, and improving financial systems and processes Demonstrated experience supporting strategic planning, business cases and investment decisions Strong judgement, integrity and discretion in managing sensitive financial and organisational matters Why This Role Matters Few CFO roles offer the chance to put financial leadership directly in service of better healthcare outcomes.
