Role Description We have an exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Business and Training Administrator to work with our Training Lead in the advanced manufacturing space. You will provide support to the Advanced Manufacturing Training Lead in coordinating activities associated with the planning and development of training and competency for the workforce based at Edinburgh Parks. This includes the setting up and management of training schedules and maintaining the training matrix and running monthly reports. Core Duties Maintaining training records and databases (MQIS) including setting up of courses, engagements, and attendances.Assisting with the on-boarding and induction of new staff members to Advanced ManufacturingAssisting with training enquiries and support needsCoordinating training schedules, including equipment setup & materials preparationBooking internal and external courses as requiredRaising purchase orders and processing payment of invoicesCommunicating training schedules and requirements to participants and stakeholders.Supporting monthly reporting for any upcoming training and any overdue trainingAssisting in the development of competency training materials/templatesProvide site administration and assist with on-boarding and induction of new staff membersAd-hoc tasks as required About You An ability to gain understanding of specific software packages to input data including: Jira, Sharepoint, Oracle, MQIS (Manufacturing Quality Information System)Be a motivated self-starter with excellent time management skillsAn ability to contribute in a team environment, providing support to meet deliverables and adding value in a collaborative environmentAdept at building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSound written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and organisational and problem-solving skillsFlexible with a lean-in approach Computer literacy, with intermediate knowledge of MS Suite and SharePoint.
