Furniture Design Studio is a growing commercial cabinetry business delivering high-quality joinery across education, hospitality, retail, commercial and high-end residential projects throughout Western Australia. We're looking for a practical, hands-on person to help keep our factory running smoothly. We're looking for someone who enjoys being on their feet, staying organised, supporting the team and rolling their sleeves up to get things done. You'll spend most of your time on the factory floor coordinating workflow, managing stock and materials, supporting trades and helping ensure projects move through the factory efficiently and on time. You'll play a key role in making the factory hum. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily factory activities and workflow Manage stock levels, materials, hardware and consumables Receive and check deliveries against purchase orders Organise materials and completed cabinetry ready for delivery and installation Assist cabinet makers and factory staff as required Monitor production progress and help remove bottlenecks Conduct regular stocktake and maintain inventory accuracy Maintain factory cleanliness, organisation and housekeeping standards Monitor the condition of factory machinery, tools and vehicles, ensuring inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs are completed and recorded appropriately. Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection checklists and logbooks Liaise with project managers, drafters, suppliers and installers Use Jobman and other systems to track production, deliveries, stock and materials Participate in toolbox meetings and help promote a strong safety culture Support and coordinate factory staff to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and workflow throughout the factory About You Experience in cabinetry, joinery, manufacturing, warehousing or workshop operations Trade-qualified Cabinet Maker highly regarded but not essential Highly organised with strong attention to detail Practical problem solver who enjoys getting things done Strong computer skills and confidence using software systems Experience with Jobman or similar manufacturing/ERP software highly regarded Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Physically fit and happy to be hands-on Forklift licence preferred but not essential Current driver's licence required Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed What We Offer Full-time position Competitive salary package based on experience Modern manufacturing facility in Balcatta Stable pipeline of commercial projects Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to play a key role in a growing business Variety in your day with a mix of coordination, logistics, production and team support A genuine opportunity to grow into a Factory Manager or Operations Manager role as the business continues to expand.
