Your new role Reporting to the Manager of Community Engagement and Communications, you will play a key role in delivering community engagement initiatives, stakeholder partnerships and community-focused programmes. You will work across a varied portfolio that includes engagement projects, community events, advisory groups and strategic community initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Developing and delivering community engagement plans and consultation activities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with community groups, stakeholders and partner organisations. Coordinating and supporting community programmes and events. Supporting reconciliation and public art initiatives. Providing engagement advice and support across a range of organisational projects Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on engagement outcomes. What you'll need to succeed Qualifications in Community Engagement, Community Development or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years experience in community engagement and/or community development. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Experience coordinating projects, programmes and community initiatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Event management experience will be highly regarded. An IAP2 qualification or communications and marketing experience will be advantageous. What you'll get in return Permanent full-time position.
