About the Opportunity As a Registered Midwife for the Antenatal Services, you will provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to expectant mothers from early pregnancy through to the lead-up to birth. Your role will support women and families with assessments, education, planning, and monitoring, ensuring optimal outcomes and empowering women to make informed choices. In this role you will: Manages the provision of antenatal care including antenatal care and assessment in the Day Assessment Unit (DAU). Conducts a comprehensive and accurate midwifery assessment of clients in the Antenatal Clinic and in DAU. Conduct comprehensive midwifery assessments and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement individualised care plans. Identify and respond to changes in maternal or fetal wellbeing, escalating concerns as required. Maintain accurate patient records and provide documentation in accordance with NMBA standards and CCLHD policies. For more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You We are looking for someone who has: Holds current Registration, or is eligible for Registration, as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with AHPRA and meets Recency of Practice Standards. Has recent clinical experience in midwifery, including acute antenatal care and obstetric emergencies. Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and can effectively prioritise workload. Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen.
