HomePlace, office in Woodville Permanent Part Time, Monday to Friday Competitive hourly rate on offer Join a NFP organisation with an authentic culture that places people living with disability first and priority on the quality of support HomePlace provides HomePlace now has an opportunity available for a dedicated People and Culture Officer to join their team About the Opportunity As the People and Culture Officer, you will provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive employee experience, maintaining compliance with organisational and legislative requirements, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services for people living with disability. Key responsibilities include: Employee Lifecycle Administration Coordinate onboarding, employment changes and offboarding. Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and compliance documentation. Respond to routine People & Culture enquiries and assist with employment contracts. Performance and Development Coordinate quarterly one-to-one meetings and annual Performance Review & Development discussions with Support Workers. Administer Performance Improvement and Performance Management Plans, including documentation, scheduling and progress tracking. Monitor performance outcomes, maintain confidential records and identify development opportunities. Support workforce capability initiatives and provide guidance on performance expectations and organisational values. Learning and Development Coordinate mandatory training, Learning Management System (LMS) compliance and employee enrolments. Arrange internal and external training, including First Aid, CPR and Manual Handling. Liaise with Scheduling/Rostering to ensure training requirements are met and provide LMS support. Workforce Compliance and Quality Maintain workforce compliance registers, ensuring licences, qualifications and clearances remain current. Support compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, audits and quality reporting. Maintain workforce data to support quality assurance and continuous compliance. Leave and Workforce Administration Administer employee leave and maintain accurate records. Support workforce planning, leave coordination and training attendance verification. Identify workforce compliance risks and maintain employee workforce data. Employee Relations and HR Support Provide administrative support for employee relations matters and workplace investigations. Prepare HR documentation while maintaining confidentiality and procedural fairness. Support the implementation of People & Culture policies and escalate complex matters where required. Systems and Reporting Maintain Employment Hero and other HR systems, ensuring data accuracy. Produce workforce and compliance reports and support system improvements. Coordinate employee system access and workforce information updates. Employee Engagement and Culture Coordinate employee wellbeing, recognition and engagement initiatives. Support staff events, meetings and People & Culture communications. Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organisational values. General Administration Coordinate People & Culture calendars, meetings and documentation. Manage routine communications and workforce administration. Undertake other duties consistent with the role About You We are looking for someone with: Essential: Qualification in business administration, human resources, or equivalent experience Experience in a Human Resources, People and Culture, or workforce administration role. Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HR systems. Experience administering performance, learning or compliance processes. Experience coordinating multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience producing reports and workforce information. Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and problem-solving ability High attention to detail and systems confidence (MS Office/HRIS) Current Driver’s Licence NDIS Worker Screening Working with Children Screening Current vaccination requirements as per HomePlace policy Ability to work collaboratively and independently Desirable: Experience in disability, community services, health or not-for-profit sectors. Understanding of disability services / NDIS compliance Experience using Employment Hero or similar HRIS platforms. Experience supporting employee relations investigations.
