Our Client Our client is an established private property developer with a significant pipeline of significant pipeline of residential and mixed-use developments across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major apartment projects from procurement through to completion. This role offers the opportunity to work across high-profile, design-led developments while collaborating closely with an experienced Development team. This role will appeal to an experienced client-side Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager looking to transition from a consultancy or contractor environment into a leading private property developer. The Role Working within a collaborative Project Management team, you will take ownership of the delivery of major projects through design, tender and construction delivery. With direct support from a Project Manager (specializing in Design & QA), you will be working closely with the Project Management team as well as Development Managers, consultants and contractors, you will ensure projects are delivered within time, cost and quality milestones. Key responsibilities include: Leading the delivery of major apartment projects from design through to completion. Working closely with and supporting a Project Manager – Design resource who will be responsible for design & construction QA. Coordinating consultants, contractors, authorities and key project stakeholders. Monitoring programme, budget, quality and construction progress throughout delivery. Managing project risks, contractual matters, variations and project reporting. Chairing project meetings and driving timely decision making throughout delivery. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the ongoing development of the project management function. About You This role will suit an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a strong track record delivering complex building projects within a client-side, consulting or contracting environment. You will also demonstrate: Strong technical capability across complex building projects. Experience managing contractor procurement and project delivery. Excellent commercial judgement. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. The ability to lead consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
