Our client, Finer Hydraulics Network Pty Ltd, is seeking experienced Fitters to join its workshop team. The company specialises in hydraulic repairs, component refurbishment, and precision mechanical services across a range of industrial applications. Key Responsibilities: Perform fitting, assembly, and disassembly of hydraulic and mechanical components Carry out repairs and refurbishment of hydraulic equipment including cylinders, valves, pins, and bushes Operate workshop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, radial drills, hydraulic presses, and hand tools Read and interpret job sheets, technical drawings, and specifications Inspect, measure, and record critical mechanical data including tolerances, wear, and dimensions Manufacture components and carry out machining tasks as required Ensure all work is completed in accordance with specifications, tolerances, and quality standards Complete job documentation and timesheets accurately and on time Maintain and use tools and equipment correctly and safely Work collaboratively within a team environment and assist with training of apprentices where required Follow all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and company policies Requirements: Relevant trade qualification or equivalent Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Fitter or in a similar role Strong experience in hydraulic repairs and component refurbishment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience operating workshop machinery and equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team
