P roviding comprehensive eye care service for the Sunshine Coast and boasting a state-of-the-art facility with full diagnostic capability to manage common eye conditions such as cataract, glaucoma and macular degeneration as well as less common problems. Our client is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant . You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to grow within the role. You will be part of a collaborative team that values honesty, integrity, teamwork, and delivering excellent patient outcomes. The role will see you: Carry out preliminary visual assessments, including recording medical and ophthalmic histories, visual acuity testing, and intraocular pressure checks Perform technical imaging and testing including visual field testing, ocular coherent tomography (OCT) and retinal photos (Training provided) Provide support to ophthalmologists and the wider clinical team Assist with coordinating patient workflow Prepare patients for procedures Work closely with the team to deliver exceptional patient care Maintain clinic rooms, including cleaning and restocking equipment Who you are: You bring a positive attitude and strong motivation to your work, with a focus on organisation, adaptability, and initiative.
