Mechanical Engineers (Mid, Senior & Lead) – Mineral Processing Due to continued project awards and growth, we are currently looking for Mechanical Engineers from Mid to Lead level to work for a fast-growing engineering consultancy based in Osborne Park across projects in the mineral processing space. Our client is closely partnered with a large mining company to provide engineering services from studies through to commissioning across multiple sites. In addition, they support numerous other mining companies across WA with their mineral processing operations. The company leaders have a strong track record of growing engineering consultancies within the space. As a Mechanical Engineer within our client, you would be providing technical engineering services through all phases of small- to mid-sized projects across both materials handling and process equipment. You might be working across multiple smaller projects at once or engaged on a package of work for a major project. Responsibilities: • Provide technical support for the design and delivery of mineral processing projects • Mechanical equipment selection and specification • Prepare reports and technical documentation • Ensure Australian, industry, and company standards are adhered to • Coordinate across multidisciplinary engineering and design teams • Participate in risk reviews and ensure designs meet safety standards • Undertake occasional site travel for inspections, commissioning, and client support • Lead/Senior – Lead mechanical work packages and provide technical leadership to junior engineers About you: • Relevant experience working in mineral processing (Mid: 3–7 years, Senior: 8 years, Lead: 10 years) • Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer, recognised by Engineers Australia • Experience working within an engineering consultancy in a technical design role • Strong understanding of relevant design tools/software (AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D, or similar) • Clear communicator • Ability to solve problems and handle technical queries • Senior/Lead – Experience leading teams, mentoring junior engineers, and engaging with clients If you're looking to join a consultancy where you can work on technically challenging mineral processing projects while playing a key role in a growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
