About the Role This is a broad, hands-on Senior Finance Manager role sitting at the heart of the business. You'll take ownership of the full financial function across multiple entities from monthly accounts and reporting through to budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and payroll. You'll also provide oversight of IT systems, WHS documentation, and a small office team. It's a varied, autonomous role well suited to someone who enjoys being across the detail but can also step back and provide meaningful financial analysis and commentary to the business owner. Key Responsibilities Monthly accounts, bank reconciliations, journals, and management reporting across multi-entity operations P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow reporting with detailed analysis across cropping, livestock, machinery, and labour Annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario modelling based on yields, commodity pricing, and operational changes Payroll, BAS/IAS, STP, PAYG, WorkCover, superannuation, and fuel tax credits Fixed asset register, equipment finance records, and capital works tracking IT systems coordination including software, hardware, licensing, and external contractors Management of Xero, Castaway, Fiscal, and Excel About You Experienced in agricultural or multi-entity finance environments Strong technical accounting skills with a high attention to detail Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities Exposure to farm management systems and compliance frameworks is an advantage A genuine interest in and appreciation for the agricultural sector What's on Offer Autonomous, varied role with real influence over the financial direction of the business Stable, long-established business with a collaborative and down-to-earth team culture Competitive salary package negotiable based on experience Regional lifestyle all the benefits of the South East without the city commute All applications are strictly confidential.
