Senior Product Designer / Mechanical Designer Elizabeth South, SA | Full Time Offline Campers is looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer / Mechanical Designer to join our growing team designing and developing award-winning, Australian-made camper trailers. Based in our new facility at the former Holden site in Elizabeth South, you’ll work closely with our founder and production team to develop the next generation of luxury off-road campers that are built to perform and made to last. This is more than a CAD role. You’ll see your ideas become real products, work directly with manufacturing, solve problems on the factory floor and help shape the future direction of Offline Campers. This is a permanent, full-time position with flexible working hours and salary negotiated based on experience. What You’ll Be Doing Designing new products, assemblies and components using SolidWorks Producing accurate manufacturing drawings and documentation Refining and improving existing camper designs and production processes Designing jigs, fixtures and tooling to improve production efficiency Working closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical to manufacture Troubleshooting manufacturing challenges and supporting continuous improvement Investigating warranty and service feedback to drive product development Applying relevant Australian Standards where required Balancing innovation with practical, production-ready outcomes What We’re Looking For Extensive experience using SolidWorks (essential) Experience using AutoCAD Strong mechanical design and problem-solving capability Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work Practical understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working across both design and production environments Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Current Australian driver’s licence Formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Drafting, Product Design or equivalent industry experience will all be considered.
