As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Female Team Leader to lead one of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services in Tea Tree Gully. About the Role As Team Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of a SIL home supporting a female participant with complex support needs. You will provide leadership, mentoring and operational guidance to Disability Support Workers while working closely with the Service Manager and Operations Team. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and mentor a team of Disability Support Workers. Ensure participants receive high-quality, person-centred supports. Coordinate day-to-day operations within the SIL home. Monitor medication documentation, progress notes and incident reporting. Conduct staff observations, coaching and competency reviews. Ensure compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies and quality systems. Liaise with participants, families, Support Coordinators, Behaviour Support Practitioners and allied health professionals. Support participant appointments, house routines and staff development. Assist with participant onboarding, staff inductions and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in the on-call roster and assist with operational escalations when required. About You You are a confident and compassionate leader who enjoys supporting both participants and staff. You will have: Previous experience as a Team Leader, Senior Disability Support Worker or similar leadership role. Minimum 2 years' experience in the disability sector. Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours, psychosocial disability and/or high-intensity support needs. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators. Experience using electronic care management systems (ShiftCare experience highly regarded). Essential Requirements Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or equivalent (or higher). Current NDIS Worker Screening Check. Working with Children Check. Current First Aid & CPR.
