This is an opportunity to work with one of the most accomplished partners in the Perth market as part of a broad practice that continues to grow rapidly, creating career development opportunities for candidates at all levels. While the role is based in Perth, we are open to considering candidates located in other states who are able to work remotely. This practice group services sophisticated clients across front-end finance transactions, energy and resources project financings and restructurings. The work includes advising on major renewable energy projects, financings for energy and resources projects in Australia, South America and Africa, high value leveraged and acquisition finance matters, real estate finance for private credit funds, debt restructurings and trade finance. The group acts for tier-1 international clients and has an increasing pipeline of inbound referrals for major global clients on their Australian work. The team also supports the Thomson Geer team nationally, giving rare access for a Perth-based lawyer to act regularly on nationally significant matters. The role would be attractive to a talented finance lawyer at 5 years PAE with top-tier credentials who is looking to broaden their practice and build a career as this team continues to grow. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 5 years PAE in a reputable front-end Banking & Finance focused practice Experience in documenting, negotiating and settling finance transactions involving banks and other financial institutions Strong commitment to client services and advanced communication and research skills Ideally, you are able to work both autonomously and in a team environment (in particular one on one with partners).
