As a Traditional Owner Relationships Advisor , you will play a key role in building trusted, long-term relationships between Horizon Power and Traditional Owner groups across the Pilbara and surrounding regions. Working closely with communities, Traditional Owners and internal stakeholders, you'll help ensure Aboriginal voices, aspirations and cultural authority are understood, respected and embedded into how we work. This is a highly autonomous, community-focused role where you'll spend time engaging directly with communities, travelling throughout the region and helping shape meaningful outcomes that support both Traditional Owner aspirations and Horizon Power's commitment to reconciliation. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly experienced team of professionals who deliver renewable energy benefits and infrastructure improvements to Horizon Power assets across the state. Your role in action: Build and maintain enduring relationships with Traditional Owner groups, PBCs, Native Title bodies and Aboriginal communities across the region. Lead Traditional Owner engagement activities and contribute to community meetings, on-Country visits, cultural initiatives and stakeholder consultations. Support land access, heritage and project-related engagement through early and proactive consultation. Develop engagement plans, briefing materials, reports and recommendations for internal stakeholders. Provide cultural advice and guidance to help teams engage respectfully and effectively with Traditional Owners. Deliver initiatives aligned to Horizon Power's Aboriginal Commitment Strategy and Stretch RAP. What you'll bring: Experience in Aboriginal engagement, Indigenous liaison, community engagement or stakeholder relationship management. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal Traditional Owner groups in the region. Ability to manage competing priorities and balance community expectations with organisational objectives. Sound judgement, cultural awareness and a respectful approach to engagement.
