Role Overview This is a day-fishing position operating out of Fremantle. You will support your fellow deckhand and the Master in all aspects of vessel operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling of gear, catch, and equipment. Key responsibilities including but not limited to: • Operation, cleaning, and maintenance of lobster fishing gear • Pot handling, stacking, and deck operations • Rope handling and safe deck management • Catch processing and storage to commercial standards • Maintaining a clean, hazard-free working environment • Assisting with routine vessel maintenance This role requires local accommodation in the Fremantle region, as the vessel operates on a day-fishing schedule with no live-aboard arrangements.
