About the role 7-Eleven Australia is seeking an experienced Corporate Store Manager to lead our store operations in Cowes, Philip Island. This is a full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to drive business performance and deliver exceptional customer service at one of our corporate-managed locations. As Corporate Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading a team to achieve sales targets, maintaining store standards, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the store operates efficiently whilst upholding 7-Eleven's reputation for quality service and convenience. Key responsibilities Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management Lead, manage and motivate a team of store staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high levels of customer service Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering and receiving of merchandise to prevent shortages and minimise waste Maintain store presentation standards, including cleanliness, visual merchandising and product displays Manage budgets and work towards achieving sales, profit and key performance indicators Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution and satisfaction Conduct staff training and development, including induction, performance management and rostering Report on store performance metrics and maintain accurate records and documentation Liaise with regional management and support functions to optimise store performance What we're looking for Proven experience in retail store management or a similar leadership role, ideally within a convenience retail environment Strong understanding of retail operations, including stock control, cash management and point-of-sale systems Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving sales and profitability Knowledge of health and safety regulations and workplace compliance requirements Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends as required by retail operations Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with inventory management systems and retail reporting tools is advantageous Certification in retail management or hospitality qualifications is preferred but not essential What we offer At 7-Eleven Australia, we pride ourselves on supporting our people to succeed.
