Position Details Location: Welshpool Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays Shift Duration: 10-12 hours per day - roughly 50-65 hours per week Employment Type: Ongoing opportunity with potential to transition from temporary to permanent Base Rate: $44.38 per hour - $66.75 overtime after 10 hours Weekly pay Immediate start Key Responsibilities Operating forklift: This role involves yard operations, including loading/unloading containers, maneuvering and storing steel products, and securing loads using various restraints. You'll primarily be handling steel, including 14.5m pipes, with a forklift, and unloading up to 80 containers per week (including 'ugly freight' such as steeland pinwheels). Receiving and dispatching goods Verifying goods against purchase orders and delivery dockets Packing, weighing and preparing freight for transport Stock control and data entry Using SAP systems Requirements Valid forklift licence Minimum of five years forklift experience Proven experience with forklifts and a range of load restraints (this is essential) Experience with PO Current WA driver's licence Full working rights as a citizen or permanent resident National Police Clearance within 12 months or willing to obtain Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening TO APPLY: If you meet all the requirements mentioned and would like to be considered, please hit the 'APPLY' button, and follow the prompts to submit your resume.
