THEOPPORTUNITY Viva Leisure, one of Australia’s leading fitness companies, isseeking an experienced and passionate Studio Manager to lead a ClubPilates studio on a permanent full-time basis in Tuggeranong. Founded in 2004, Viva Leisure operates fitness clubs across thehealth and leisure industry and is the largest independent healthclub operator in Australia. As Studio Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations ofthe studio, drive membership growth, and maintain operationalexcellence while building a positive, high-performing team culture.You will lead by example, setting clear expectations aroundservice, professionalism, and studio presentation, and ensuringprograms consistently meet or exceed member expectations. People leadership is central to the role. You will coach,mentor, and develop your team, fostering an environment where stafffeel supported, engaged, and empowered to deliver their best.Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, asyou will manage studio administration, scheduling, reporting, andcompeting priorities to keep the studio performing at its peak. SKILLS &QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with: Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness toobtain) Strong knowledge of and a passion for the FitnessIndustry Experience in sales and customer service, ideally withinthe fitness or retail sectors Demonstrated people management and team leadershipexperience Previous experience in a similar role (desirable) Proven sales aptitude with a results-driven mindset andability to meet targets Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with apassion for engaging both team members and clients tostrengthen the brand. Skilled in supporting diverse tasks andmentoring future leaders to help them achieve peakperformance Proven ability to drive operational excellence throughstrong organisational and formal operational skills. Capable ofmanaging multiple priorities effectively, with a proactivemindset, eagerness to learn, and agility in adapting toevolving business needs Ability to be a role model and live our Viva values, andbehaviours while being passionate about our brands. You willdemonstrate professionalism, respect, courtesy and support Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word,Excel, Outlook) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive new member sign-ups, manage renewals, and implementstrategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention Ensure all members and guests receive high-quality service;handle complaints and feedback promptly and professionally Maintain high standard of operational procedures.
