Reporting directly to the Station Manager, the Bore Runner plays a vital role in maintaining essential water infrastructure across the station. This hands-on position ensures water reliability for stock and supports broader station operations as required. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Conduct regular bore, trough, tank, and lick inspections; maintain bore records; and keep tank surrounds/solar frame areas clear. Perform maintenance and repairs on solar bore setups, generators, machinery, and light vehicles, utilising support staff when required. Monitor water points via the Farmbot system and promptly report breakdowns or maintenance issues. Assist station operations, including livestock program support, workshop stocktakes, communication across teams, and adherence to safety procedures. Selection Criteria: Strong maintenance capabilities: plumbing or mechanical skills highly regarded. Previous station experience favourable. Proactive, team-focused communicator with strong problem-solving ability. Current driver's licence (essential). Additional Particulars: Single accommodation provided. All meals supplied.
