Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Factory Foreman to lead our manufacturing operations. This is not a desk job. We are looking for a leader who enjoys being on the factory floor, leading by example and setting the standard for quality, productivity and safety. Please note: This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking a highly experienced industry professional. Applicants without relevant shower screen and wardrobe manufacturing experience will not be considered. About the Role As our Factory Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility while remaining actively involved in production. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, mentoring and motivating the factory team Planning and coordinating daily production schedules Cutting and processing glass accurately and safely Manufacturing frameless, semi-frameless and fully framed shower screens Fabricating and assembling aluminium wardrobe sliding doors Quality control throughout every stage of production Ensuring production deadlines are achieved Managing workflow and factory efficiency Training and developing staff Implementing and maintaining production systems and procedures Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workshop Working closely with management to continually improve production Ensuring all products meet Icon's quality standards Promoting and enforcing a strong safety-first culture Skills & Experience Required To be successful in this role you must have proven experience in a similar manufacturing leadership position. Essential Minimum 5 years' experience manufacturing shower screens and wardrobe sliding doors Extensive knowledge of frameless, semi-frameless and fully framed shower screen systems Proven ability to cut and process glass Experience fabricating and assembling aluminium shower screens and wardrobe doors Strong understanding of glazing systems, hardware and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret production drawings and cutting lists Previous experience leading a manufacturing team Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong problem-solving ability Exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication skills Current driver's licence Leadership Qualities We're looking for someone who: Leads from the front Holds themselves and their team accountable Is highly organised and process-driven Takes pride in producing exceptional workmanship Can motivate and develop others Has a positive, professional attitude Continuously looks for ways to improve efficiency Understands the importance of quality control Is committed to workplace safety every day Safety Is Non-Negotiable At Icon, safety comes before everything else.
