Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload across various areas of criminal law according to your areas of experience The role is broad encompassing traffic, criminal, domestic violence, etc, according to experience Successfully managing a caseload consisting of summary and indictable matters Attending client conferences and obtaining instructions Preparing submissions and negotiating with police prosecutions Regularly appearing in various courts, including for appeals, breaches and bail applications Preparing correspondence including written advice and briefs to counsel Working with some of the best criminal barristers. Qualifications Prior experience working in a similar Criminal Lawyer position, preferably in private practice Prioritisation, organisation and time management skills to meet objectives Strong Microsoft Office Suite 365 skills Warm, friendly and professional with a customer service focus Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexible, proactive approach to achieving team and business goals Strong interpersonal skills to build robust working relationships within a dynamic team environment.
