The Sound Temple is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and community-minded individual to join our team as a Sound Temple Assistant. This is a diverse and hands-on role that combines event coordination, guest care, retail sales, administration, marketing support, and general venue operations within one of Perth’s most unique wellness and event spaces. No two days are the same. One day you may be preparing the venue for a sound healing event, greeting guests and supporting facilitators. Another day you may be merchandising the retail store, processing online orders, coordinating private events, updating Shopify, or helping develop new ideas and experiences for our growing community. Key Responsibilities Event Support & Coordination · Planning and assistance in delivery of events · Venue preparation and pack-down · Guest welcoming and event hosting · Supporting facilitators and presenters · Maintaining the presentation and atmosphere of the venue Retail & Customer Service · Assisting customers and processing sales · Product merchandising and displays · Gift wrapping and special orders · Processing online orders and stock management · Maintaining a welcoming retail environment Administration & Operations · Supporting day-to-day business operations · Shopify product and event management · Inventory control and stocktakes · Supplier liaison and ordering · General administrative support Marketing Support · Assisting with event promotion and marketing initiatives · Photography and content gathering · Supporting social media and campaign activities · Identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement Important Requirements This is an events-based business. Evening and weekend work is a regular and essential part of this role. If you are not available to work evenings and weekends, this position is unlikely to be suitable for you. The successful candidate will ideally be available for approximately 38 hours per week , commencing on a casual basis with a view to transitioning into a permanent full-time position.
