About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor Approvals & Compliance to join us on this once-in-a-generation project, acting as a key interface between the project and the regulatory authorities, reporting to the Environment and Sustainability Manager. This position is based in either Leongatha or Melbourne, VIC. Key ResponsibilitiesLead environmental approvals, compliance and sustainability activities across the project.Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, project approvals and contractual requirements.Manage environmental audits, inspections, reporting and regulator engagement.Develop and maintain environmental management plans, procedures and compliance systems.Provide expert environmental advice to project managers and operational teams.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance environmental performance and sustainability outcomes.
